The Tecalemit hydraulic play detector DE7361 is designed to check quickly and efficiently most steering and suspension components. Designed for the UK statutory testing of Class 4, 7 and 5L vehicles in accordance with the ATL/MOT test. It enables a technician quickly to detect play and wear in the steering, suspension and chassis components of passenger cars and LGV’s.
The unit is comprised of a hydraulic powerpack, a combined hand control/lamp and one hydraulic platform. The platform is only 48 MM high and is actuated by two hydraulic cylinders. The play is visually checked with the control lamp. The wheel play detector generates lateral movement and a rotary movement. The hand control is a cable free unit communicating through RF.
